Cape Air & Lebanon Municipal Airport Surpass 10K Enplanements for 2014

December 23, 2014

The Lebanon Municipal Airport surpassed the 2014 goal of 10,000 enplanements on December 8th. In achieving this objective in partnership with Cape Air, the airport will receive the Federal Aviation Administration’s $1 million funding to cover eligible airport improvements. The FAA entitlements are entirely user-funded with no cost to taxpayers.

“The Lebanon Airport greatly appreciates Cape Air’s maximum effort providing airline service to the City and the region,” said Rick Dyment, Airport Manager. “The very successful White Plains to Midtown service is one example, and the 74 Domestic nonstop connections and 42 International nonstop connections through Boston are another.”

Cape Air has worked in tandem with the Lebanon Airport to exceed the 10,000 enplanements goal for the past three years, while delivering increased airport awareness and investment in the city of Lebanon through sponsorships and community engagement.

“Cape Air is thrilled to be a part of the successful efforts to reach 10,000 enplanements for 2014,” said Linda Markham, President of Cape Air. “We celebrate our achievement with our partners at the Lebanon City Council, Lebanon Airport, and the citizens of Lebanon. We look forward to building upon this success in 2015 and beyond.”

The Lebanon Airport and Cape Air plan to celebrate the achievement from January 5th – 9th by offering complimentary refreshments to all passengers and visitors at the Lebanon Airport.

Cape Air offers daily flights from the Lebanon Airport to Boston Logan International Airport and partners with JetBlue, which allows passengers easy through ticketing and baggage transfers from the Lebanon Airport to most JetBlue cities. Cape Air also has daily flights from Lebanon to Westchester County Airport, with included ground transportation to Midtown NYC.
