How does TravelPass work?
TravelPass is our new electronic trip-based product that will replace the current paper commuter book. Similar to the commuter book, TravelPass is comprised of ten one-way tickets on a specific route that can be used in either direction. Unlike the commuter book, the purchase, booking and management of the TravelPass will primarily be web-based. TravelPass is designed to be more convenient, allowing you to self-serve on capeair.com.
TravelPasses are valid for use up to 12 months from the date of purchase on the specific routing selected. Upon purchase, you can use your TravelPass to reserve flights up to (but not exceeding) the number of trips specified in the product description. For example, when you purchase a TravelPass 10-pack, you will be able to book 5 round-trips, 10 one-ways, or any combination totaling 10 punches. Any unused passes at the time of expiration will not be available to book future travel.
TravelPass allows users to easily refill their accounts with 10-packs to accommodate your trips and travelers. You will need a pass in your account to accommodate each individual on your reservation. For example, two passengers flying round-trip between Boston and Nantucket will require four passes.
Accounts & Travel Managers
An individual with a profile/account can add up to 4 additional travelers to their account, totaling 5 individuals, who can fly using the passes in their TravelPass bank. The profile creator is the default Travel Manager. As TravelManager, you can be the primary person booking travel, or you can opt to designate additional Travel Managers that you authorize to book flights using your passes.

Do TravelPasses expire?
TravelPasses are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Any unused tickets will expire 12 months from the date of your original purchase date.
We are unable to extend the expiration date of your expired passes. Because TravelPass was designed as a convenience for our frequent travelers who fly with us consistently in the course of a year, if you do not believe you will be able to use 10 passes in a 12-month period, TravelPass may not be the best option for booking flights.
Are TravelPasses transferable?
TravelPass coupons can be used by up to 5 individual travelers on the group/family TravelPass account. The designated Travel Managers for the group will be able to book flights for themselves or other members of the group.
Please note: TravelPass was developed to offer a discount for our customers who fly a particular route with frequency.
Can I resell a TravelPass?
TravelPass products are not available for resale. Penalty for resale is deactivation of your profile and forfeiture of any remaining products associated to that profile.
Can businesses use TravelPass?
Yes! Businesses can purchase a TravelPass on their desired route and have up to 5 passengers managed by their designated Travel Manager. If you are a business that requires more than 5 passengers at a time to be on your account, or want to purchase TravelPasses in bulk amounts, please visit our company Pass request page and submit your application. Include your contact information, your business name, desired route and quantity of TravelPass products you would like to purchase. Business TravelPass requests will be reviewed, and we will be in touch with information on setting up your account.
In order to be approved for a corporate account, organizations applying for a corporate TravelPass must have a place of business located within the destination area served by Cape Air on the selected routing.
What types off companies are granted Corporate Travel Pass accounts? Corporate TravelPass accounts are typically granted to constuction firms, developers and contractors traveling frequently for a project, health care organizations flying staff and/or patients, government agencies, non-profits and local-based businesses requiring frequent staff travel. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a corporate TravelPass account to rental properties, AIRBNB properties or vacation/seasonal rental property owners. We reserve the right to revoke corporate account status if the product is misused.
How do I purchase a TravelPass 10-Pack?
You can purchase a TravelPass 10-pack on your desired route (or routes) on capeair.com, or by clicking here. Once you complete your transaction, your passes will be available in your account.
A profile is required in order to be a TravelPass user. If you currently have a profile on capeair.com, you just need to log in. Within your profile page, you will now see an option to Purchase a TravelPass 10-pack, Book a Flight Using TravelPass, and Add Travelers to your TravelPass account. If you are running low on passes, you will have the option to easily refill your account with an additional 10 tickets. If you do not have an existing profile on capeair.com, you can create one here.
How do I book a flight using my TravelPasses?
Booking flights with TravelPass is a simple process similar to booking a regular Cape Air flight. In order to use your TravelPasses, you will have to be logged into your profile. Your profile will store your traveler data, as well as your TravelPass information (remaining trips, used trips). Once logged in, you will also have the option to refill your TravelPass account with additional 10-packs.
In order to book a flight using TravelPass, you must have the appropriate number of passes in your account to accommodate all travelers on your trip. For example, if two people are traveling round-trip between Boston and Nantucket, they would need four TravelPasses to cover two passengers for the outbound and return flights. You will be prompted to refill your account if you do not have the correct number of remaining passes.
Can I cancel a TravelPass reservation?
TravelPass reservations can be cancelled or changed up to 24 hours prior to departure with no penalty or change fees. Cancelled trips will be valid for use to reserve future flights. Upon cancellation, please allow up to 24-hours for your passes to be returned to your account. If you need to rebook immediately after cancelling, you may also contact our Call Center at 1-800-CAPE-AIR (1-800-227-3247) where our agents can rebook your flights using the TravelPasses.
Customers who would like to do exchange/rebook to a different flight using their TravelPass, can also do so online. After logging into your profile, you can choose to lookup and manage your upcoming travel.
Cancellations within 24 hours of departure time:
Within 24 hours, changes are allowed for flights departing the same day as the original flight date. If the change within 24 hours results in a new travel date, an additional trip is required to hold the segment, and the original pass(es) are forfeited. Cancellations without rebooking within 24 hours will result in forfeiture of your trip/passes.
No Shows:
A no show on a TravelPass reservation will result in forfeiture of the trip and the passes not being refunded for re-use.
Do pets fly free with TravelPass customers?
Yes! TravelPass holders can fly with their pet for free. Cape Air's standard pet policies do apply for TravelPass customers.
