Check In Time Requirements
We recommend checking in for your flight one hour or more before scheduled or posted departure times. Please allow additional time for busy travel periods. At a minimum, please observe the following required check in times:
45 Minutes Prior to Departure:
- Flights departing from: Boston, Billings, Chicago/O'Hare, New York/JFK, Nashville, St. Croix, St. Louis, St. Thomas, San Juan, Nevis,
and Tortola: 45 minutes prior to scheduled or posted departure time.
15 Minutes Prior to Departure:

Ground shuttle from New York to White Plains- departing from the northeast corner of 35th Street near the northeast corner of 8th Ave.
30 Minutes Prior to Departure:
- Flights departing from all other locations. Also, If you receive a boarding pass from another airline, or online at capeair.com, please recheck at your departure airport for all locations 30 minutes prior to departure, so that we can obtain your baggage and personal weight details.
For customers who receive boarding passes through capeair.com or a partner airline:
- Please re-check with a Cape Air agent at the airport 30 minutes prior to scheduled or posted departure time.
For customers using the New York City Ground Shuttle to White Plains:
- Please meet the shuttle and wait near the MTA Penn Station A/C/E Subway entrance on the north side of 35th Street near the northeast corner of 8th Ave.
