Cape Air Announces CEO Transition as Linda Markham Retires; Mike Migliore named President and Chief Executive Officer

March 13, 2026

Hyannis, MA — March 13, 2026 — Cape Air announced earlier this week a leadership transition as Linda Markham, Chief Executive Officer, retired after more than 23 years of distinguished service with the company. Markham’s career at Cape Air has been defined by her strong leadership, deep commitment to employees and customers, and her instrumental role in advancing the airline’s mission of connecting communities across the United States and the Caribbean.

“After an incredible chapter leading Cape Air, I’m retiring as CEO with deep gratitude for the team, partners, and communities that made the journey so meaningful. It’s been an honor to work alongside such dedicated people and to help connect so many places and passengers along the way,” said Markham.

Mike Migliore has been appointed President & Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Markham. Migliore previously served as Cape Air’s Chief Financial Officer, where he played a critical role in guiding the airline’s financial strategy, long term planning, and operational growth over the past 15 years.

“Cape Air is entering an exciting new era,” said Migliore. “I am honored to step into this role and to continue building on the strong foundation Linda established. I look forward to working with our exceptional team as we continue delivering reliable, community focused air service.”

Markham expressed her support for Migliore, noting his extensive experience and leadership skills. Markham added, “I’m thrilled to congratulate Mike on stepping into the role of CEO. Mike’s leadership, vision, and commitment to Cape Air’s mission make him the perfect person to guide the company into its next chapter. Wishing him every success as he leads the team forward.”

In conjunction with this transition, Casey Stone will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer. Stone previously served as Vice President of Finance and has been with the company for 15 years. She brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of Cape Air’s financial operations.

Cape Air extends its heartfelt gratitude to Linda Markham for her decades of leadership and congratulates both Mike Migliore and Casey Stone on their new roles.
