New Schedule in Quincy, IL

February 4, 2014
Those who fly between Quincy and St. Louis on Sundays will soon find it easier to get a seat.  Effective February 10, Cape Air will move one round trip from Tuesday to Sunday, leaving Tuesday with five round trips and bringing Sunday up to four.
The new schedule is in response to increased demand for an additional Sunday round trip and is expected to fare well with passengers.  “The benefits to the new schedule are two-fold,” said Linda Markham, President of Cape Air.  “It adds more outbound capacity for business travelers getting a jump on the work week, and it adds more inbound seats for leisure travelers returning to Quincy on Sunday.”
“I appreciate that Cape Air has responded to the needs of the business community,” said Kyle Moore, Mayor of Quincy.  “There are a lot of business travelers who need to get to business meetings by Monday morning, and an additional Sunday flight will accommodate that.”
Other flights throughout the week will also be retimed to accommodate the new schedule, but those changes are expected to have a minimal impact on passengers.  Overall market capacity will remain the same at 36 round trip flights per week.
Tickets can be purchased by visiting, by calling 1-800-CapeAir, by visiting Cape Air’s downtown ticket office at 727 Hampshire in Quincy or by calling your local travel agent.
