Cape Air Confirms Aircraft Incident at Provincetown Airport

Hyannis, MA (September 9, 2021)– Cape Air confirms that flight #2072 a Cessna 402C, enroute to Provincetown, MA from Boston, MA has been involved in an incident at the Provincetown Airport. Upon landing, the aircraft exited the runway.

Cape Air has confirmed six passengers and one crew onboard the aircraft. It has been confirmed that all passengers and crew were transported to Cape Cod Hospital by ambulance.  

Cape Air CEO Dan Wolf issued the following statement, “As we try to process the circumstances of this event, our primary concern at this time is for our passengers and crew onboard the aircraft.  We are in contact with the authorities, are cooperating fully with emergency responders and are marshaling our Family Assistance Team to immediately help those touched by this incident.”
