Ft. Leonard Wood Schedule Change

May 1, 2014
Effective May 5, Cape Air will move the first flight from Ft. Leonard Wood to St. Louis on Monday – Friday from its current time of 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.  The retimed flight will arrive in St. Louis at 8:22 a.m. The new schedule is in response to requests for a later early morning flight during the week to accommodate those whose travel plans require an early departure, but also have early morning
obligations on base.

“We are pleased to accommodate our passengers’ requests for a later early morning departure option,” said Linda Markham, President of Cape Air. “The new weekday schedule will allow them to
leave later, but still catch the morning flight banks out of St. Louis.”

“We are excited to initiate new times for flights departing our installation to better support our War Fighters in their efforts to move forward onto their next destination in their travels, said Darlene Battle, Installation Transportation Officer at Ft. Leonard Wood. “The later departure times will allow for them to complete procedures on the Installation in the morning and still make a
morning flight to St Louis for an earlier connection than was previously available.”

Other flights throughout the week will also be retimed to accommodate the new schedule, but those changes are expected to have a minimal impact on passengers. Overall market capacity will remain
the same at 29 round trip flights per week.

Tickets can be purchased by visiting capeair.com, by calling 1-800-CapeAir, by visiting Cape Air’s downtown ticket office at 229 Old Historic Route 66 in Waynesville or by calling your local travel agent.
