Cape Air Hosts First Time Flyers in Lebanon

December 12, 2017

On Saturday, December 9, Cape Air invited community members to The Lebanon Municipal Airport for complimentary flights. Over 30 people gathered at the airport to enjoy refreshments, mingle with the Cape Air team, and take a scenic flight around the Lebanon area.

“We are always seeking new opportunities to connect directly with the communities we serve,” said Linda Markham, President of Cape Air/Nantucket Airlines. “Our success in Lebanon, as well as the other 34 cities, is a direct result of our ongoing partnerships with city officials, community members, local organizations, and the airport. Events like these are a great way to get to know community members outside of our day-to-day operations.”

Cape Air was joined by many notable community members, including Mayor Suzanne Prentis, Chamber of Commerce President, Rob Taylor, individuals from Dartmouth University, and local business owners.

“What a nice opportunity it was to see the Upper Valley from the air,” said Rob Taylor, Executive Director of the Lebanon Chamber of Commerce. “The Cape Air pilots seemed intent on showing us how much fun it is to rise above the hustle and bustle of the ‘ground level.’ Everyone really enjoyed themselves and came away from the experience with newfound appreciation for the Cape Air travel options.”
