Cape Air Merger with Shoreline Aviation - 70 Years of Experience Comes Together
With a combined 70-year legacy, Cape Air and Shoreline Aviation become one, delivering seaplane service to the Northeast – and beyond.
Cape Air has combined operations with Connecticut-based Shoreline Aviation to provide passengers with greater convenience and connectivity while traveling across the Northeast. In an effort to expand its footprint, Cape Air will assume operations for regular seasonal commuter service including flights between the 23rd Street Seaplane Base to East Hampton, Shelter Island’s Sunset Beach, The Pines at Fire Island and Montauk. In addition, flights will operate between the 23rd Street Seaplane Base and Provincetown.
“Our companies already share a similar culture and overarching commitment to both safety and service,” said Linda Markham, President of Cape Air. “As a result, with 70 years combined experience, this partnership of talents supports Cape Air’s ongoing mission to bring seaplane service back to Boston Harbor, for the first time since 1946. We are thrilled that our customers and partners will now have access to an extraordinary portfolio of travel options and are delighted to serve travelers in a new and exciting way.”
